These tears, known as frankincense, have been harvested for centuries for their aromatic properties and use in traditional medicine, particularly for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Boswellia serrata thrives in dry, rocky environments and is highly valued for its resin, which is used in incense, perfumes, and various medicinal preparations.
