Plant Description: Bergamot, scientifically known as Citrus bergamia, is a small citrus tree that originated in southern Italy. It features glossy green leaves, fragrant white flowers, and round, yellow-green fruits resembling small oranges. Bergamot thrives in warm, sunny climates and is prized for its aromatic peel, which yields the highly valued bergamot essential oil.
